I guess I was lucky, I had my new Wilson Combat CQB shipped to a LGS last Sept. and when I picked it up I bought a pound of TiteGroup, just looked at the tag and I paid $23.
Speaking of gun shows, haven't been to one in a few years and never bought a firearm at one but I've been curious, when buying a gun at a show, doesn't a person have to go through a background check like buying at a regular gunshop?

At least with Titegroup, it is as advertised "A little goes a long way". I have one pound that I swear is bottomless!

Normally federal background checks not required for private sales at gunshows. Required for firearms bought from FFL holding vendors.

State and/or local laws might require background checks for all firearm purchases.

Me too, I had a little less than 1/4 in the jug, and since the shop only charged me $20 for FFL transfer fee and I saw some on his shelf I thought I'd better buy it. That was just before the massive shortages started.

Gotch'a, thanks, I've been wondering what the law was at shows.

I'm both fortunate and unfortunate when it comes to reloading components. Fortunate in that I have enough powder, primers and lead to keep shooting longer than I'll be around to use it all up. I'm loading for sons and grandsons too. Unfortunate in that I have gotten too old to go to the range as often as I would like.

I have seen some hopeful signs that maybe things are starting to loosen up a bit. I was able to buy some powder online at a resoanable price, I checked online at various sites a couple times a day and they had various powders available if only for a short time, however, they seemed to post another batch a day or so later. I have found Everglades Ammo and Powder Valley both good dealers who deliver promptly, Titan Reloading is also a good dealer. Titan Reloading posted an excellent article explaining their view of why the shortages have occured.

I'm not too far behind you. I got the wonderful Covid virus about 8 months ago and ever since then my energy level is about zero. I DID hop on my 4 wheeler, went out on the BLM and shot a grand total of 15 rounds. That was living life on the wild side since I've only got a little over 100 bullets and 200 primers.

Trying to find projectiles has been tough for me. It seems all the 200gr lswc bullets have disappeared.

The only component bullets I'm seeing are odd calibers or weights.
