    My tenth WILSON COMBAT

I'd like to give an advice to everybody, don't even look at Bill Wilson's 1911s otherwise they'll call a spell on you . . .

About twelve or more probably thirteen years ago I was captured by WILSON COMBAT 1911s disease and I'm getting worse. . .

The problem is that Bill WILSON's 1911s are of an overwhelming beauty and shoot absolutely great.
In the years I owned I don't know how many 1911s, at least three KIMBERs, four or five COLTs, S&W 1911 Performance Center, not to mention numerous collectible USGIs, at the present time I still own a very accurate STI Spartan, BUT there is no contest between a Wilson and any other 1911. . .
In the years I've bought, then sold or traded, nine WILSON COMBAT 1911s.
Last week I bought my tenth one; actually four years ago I sold this pistol to a guy that used it only once at the range, then left it in his safe.
So in the end I decided to buy it back; it's still exactly in the same shape I gave it to him, practically new.
Maybe it's true that Bill Wilson's pistols have some sort of mystical power with them, and once you get involved with them you're turned to their "dark side" for the rest of your life . .
Originality can't be restored, so put "originality" at the top of a priority list. If JMB didn't put it on the 1911 you don't need it.

I go to the range at least once week.

Congrats on your new Wilson, Sergio! Ten is quite a lot.

I currently have three; My first, an old Professional in 9mm that I’ve updated a bit, an engraved Tactical Carry with several upgrades, and my newest is an EDC X9 in 9mm.
