Hopefully they will get back onto the "California Roster". New guns from Colt have not been available here since 2016.
    i sold all my handguns. . . . . . . . . . except for the 1911 style pistols in .45 ACP.

With microstamping, chamber loaded indicator, and magazine disconnect? Not likely.

I'm pretty bummed. I own more Colts than any other brand.
Doesn't seem right a Foreign company owning a American Icon

They already did. Didn't you know the man behind the holding company that bankrupted Colt is Greek?

No, not El Comandante -- another Greek. On the other hand, CZ now has more of an operation in the U.S. than they do in the Czech Republic, and they are interested in making and selling guns, not in bleeding the corpse dry. I think it's great news for Colt fans.

It's better to be owned by CZ than a Chinese company, isn't it?

Form what little I have read they seem committed to keeping the Colt brand going and if they continue to produce a quality product its a better alternative than letting Colt go under.

CZ is already producing an excellent line of 1911s, it won't be too difficult for them to maintaing the quality of Colt's products.
