Does anyone have any experience with the Kimber LW models? I like the idea of a lightweight frame, and own a Ruger LW Commander. These seem like a good price for a Kimber, and I was wondering if there’s a downside to this purchase.

I've owned, carried, and shot a lot my Colt LW commander 80S but not a Kimber LW models. I'm sure they are good as well.
I have alloy frame Kimbers in 4 and 5 inch models. They are solid performers and the fit and finish are high quality.
They are in both adjustable and fixed sight models and shoot to point of aim! All are carried regularily and the weight savings is noticeable!
Smiles,
Thank you.
