I recently acquired a .45 cal Colt 1911 National match. The serial number is 35375-NM. There is no C prefix. The slide is a Colt National Match slide numbered in the rear sight recess to match the frame. I can't seem to date it. When I run the number (without the NM) it says it's a 1940 38 Super. If I run it with the NM, I don't get a match. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

My little book shows 35800-NM through 37025-NM as 1970 production.
