OWB 'SERPA CQC'-style carry holster for RIA TAC Ultra FS HC?

Looking for a carry holster similar to the Blackhawk SERPA CQC OWB for my RIA 51567 TAC Ultra double-stack .45. Off-the-shelf or custom?

    This holster? https://blackhawk.com/serpa-cqc-matt...lment-holster/

While it is not generally a highly regarded holster, why not pick the SERPA if that's what you want?

Most folks looking for a non-leather retention holster typically choose something from the Safariland line-up https://safariland.com/collections/duty

I already have the SERPA CQC for my single-stack 1911. I asked if anyone was aware of a similar style holster that would accommodate a double-stack 1911. The CQC does not.

I have found a double-stack holster that specifically names my firearm: Custom Kydex OWB Holster (daraholsters.com)

Why wouldn't the CQC work with the double stack? The slide, trigger window and front spring tunnel are all the same dimensions as a singkle stack. It's only the grip and mag well that are wider on the double stack.

I have both a single-stack and a double-stack. Trust me when I tell you: the CQC does NOT accommodate the double-stack. I can force it in, but extracting it is difficult - not a good situation when facing an adversary. I spoke with the tech department at Blackhawk; they specifically said the CQC is not designed to handle anything wider than a single-stack. Dara Holsters is the only manufacturer I've found (so far) that makes a holster specific to my particular choice of weapons.

    This RIA? https://www.armscor.com/firearms/ria...-fs-hc-45-acp/

If so, it is probably the rail that is the issue, unless your single stack has the same rail.

While I don't have your guns or holsters, I'm with Hawkmoon, the grip dimension shouldn't have an affect on holster selection.

Back to the holster search, I'm not clear what kind of holster you're looking for. Are you looking for a retention holster like the SERPA, or a range/competition holster like the DARA?

It's kydex you prefer, and not leather, correct?

Tucker, I believe shows your gun on their leather list, but I can't get their kydex list to come up.

In general, if they have the mold for a leather holster, they should be able to do kydex for you, though it's possible they don't do the kydex models in-house.

A holster for a Springfield TRP with full rail or a Les Baer 5" Monolith may also work for your gun.

Garrett Holsters shows the Springfield TRP full rail on their list https://www.giholsters.com

Both Tucker and Garrett have very good customer service and it should be easy to ask if their holsters will fit your specific gun.

Listing the part number for your gun may not be helpful, but telling them you have a double stack, 5" 1911, with full rail (if that's what you have), would make it easier for them.

Thank you all for your very helpful responses.
Tucker is definitely an option. Garrett, curiously, does not list RIA, but with its growing popularity, I'm guessing they're able to custom-fit for it.
I'm not locked into kydex. Leather is acceptable as well. Nylon, fabric: not so much.
Yes, RIA TAC Ultra HC (https://www.armscor.com/firearms/ria...-fs-hc-45-acp/). RIA guns: top-tier quality (IMHO) at a very good price.
I've talked to the Blackhawk fitment people. They don't do custom.
They assure me - and my own hands-on proves it - the SERPA CQC is exactly as I have described it: too tight at the grip (trigger housing area) for a reliable and unhindered draw. I have both single-stack and double-stack RIA's. The single-stack fits, the double-stack does not. The CQC is designed to accommodate a rail, but not a wider grip body. I own both, and I own the holster.
This is not an argument, it's information: what works for the purpose, and what doesn't.
BTW, if age is the benchmark for 'Old Timer', I'm 70 - does that count?
