I would like to tighten up the side-to-side play in my trigger ( ~2000 era Kimber TLE stainless )
It causes a slight wobble that you can feel thou I can't get my caliber's in there to measure.
I have tried to solder on material to the outside of the trigger bow ( trigger pad itself is aluminum ) to file down to a perfect fit but it just wont stick, even with a MAP torch, preparing with acetone, etc. I have soldered to stainless before, so I do not know what gives.
I would like to buy a new trigger and hand fit this dimension, but I do not really see this listed. Height and front-to-back length are the typical dimensions given.
Does anyone know of a trigger which is sider in the side to side dimension?
Here is the size of my trigger
0.2450 wide
0.9135 tall
The other alternative is to spread the trigger bow, but I am not sure how to do that. Any good recourses or youtube videos on this process? Most i've seen are to adjust pre-travel or swaging it for vertical fitting.
