Here are the rest of the pictures.
Welcome to the forum.
Produced 1914 by the Springfield Armory, Springfield, Massachusetts. Pistol and parts shown appear correct for that vintage except for the magazine. Most of the small parts usually stamped with a small "s", check the back side of the slide stop for example.
Hold the barrel looking through the chamber end. Any stamps on the end of the barrel hood? That's the small ledge protruding from the back end of the barrel.
The moderators should move this post to the USGI section.

There is a small s stamp behind the slide stop. I couldn't find any visible marking on the barrel hood except for what looked like a j?
My Collector's Guide by Charles Clawson shows J marked barrels started from about serial 102,597 thru 107,596 and that series barrel also P stamped on the opposite side from the S. The file/rub marks on that side might have removed the P stamp. That J stamp likely means the barrel replaced.
Any stamps/letters on the magazine baseplate? Possibly a letter on the top of the toe that sticks out the front of the magazine? Or possibly on the bottom of the baseplate?
No visible stamps anywhere on the magazine that I could see. The S stamp is on the left side of the barrel lug however I couldnt find any indentations that would show a p stamp. I'm just going to assume that it is a replacement barrel like you had said. Thank you
The Springfield Armory discussion area is for pistols made by the current Springfield Armory company, which is a commercial business located in Illinois. This pistol is (or appears to be) a genuine WW1 vintage M1911. That Springfield Armory is now only a museum. I have moved this thread to the U.S.Military-issue M1911 and M1911A1 discussion area, where it belongs.

Beautiful SPRINGFIELD, congrats indeed.
Originality can't be restored, so put "originality" at the top of a priority list. If JMB didn't put it on the 1911 you don't need it.
What a gem; thanks for sharing!
