    Mystery Mags?

    x5QcDX.jpg5VcCTU.jpgZJaFsQ.jpg6xIIkf.jpgNL9CWG.jpgHello all,
I hope this is in the right place but I have 2 magazines I bought online for 40 bucks. ( it was Ebay and no one else bid on them) I know the pouch is originally from WW1 but the magazines might not be. the magazines have no markings except for a small A that looks like a V on one, and a B on the other. they are not two tonned and are one solid color. I have no idea if they are originals but they look old enough to fit the bill (and are slightly rusty) they also do not have lanyard loops either but have 5 holes. Any information is appreciated as I am a history buff and just getting into guns. I have pictures but cant upload them for some reason...
    Cheers,

Welcome to the forum. Photos help tremendously for identification.

Just from your description you might have refinished American Pin and Barnes & Kobert magazines but without photos that's just a guess.

Two photos show a B on the toe signifying a refinished Barnes & Kobert, I think that's the same photo posted twice.

This photo of the mag floor plates doesn't show any detail. Please try again, positioning the mags so the light falls on the bottoms to illuminate any details.

The A stamps for American Pin often fill with debris and appear more like a solid V. Both your magazines originally two tone.
