Thread: best 1911 .45 used for the money under $500

    If it were me, I would want to know what corners were cut to make the "Defender" sell for a couple hundred less than the regular Mil-Spec. Since pistols tend to last a very long time my inclination would be to try to find a "Mil-Spec" that's used and save some bucks that way, if quality compromises in the "Defender" series were an issue.
    i sold all my handguns. . . . . . . . . . except for the 1911 style pistols in .45 ACP.
