This forum won't allow me to upload photos using "Inset image" option.

Is there a tutorial that will help?

Yes. How to post pictures is all covered in the FAQ, which has been recently revised and updated (since the Photobucket debacle).

This is the method I attempted to use and the method that works on that other forum!

"In that new window, click on the tab saying "From Computer", if you want to upload a picture which is stored in your computer, or click on the tab saying "From URL" if you want to add a picture which is already stored somewhere on the internet.
If you want to upload a picture from your computer, click on the button saying "Choose file". A new window will open, showing the files in your computer. Select the picture you want to upload, and then click on the "Upload File(s)" link, and you are done. "

After selecting "Choose file" (photo of 1911 from my computer file) and "Upload File" I get "Upload failed". I checked another forum and it works just fine, help!

    Smiles, John

    Hmmm ... Testing ...

As you can see, it worked as advertised for me. But the photo is too big for easy viewing, and it's actually 1024x768 in size (which is less than 1 megapixel). What size are your photos? Try resizing to 1024x768.
