Have not tried the mag yet. It has the dimpled follower. I am having trouble posting all the pics that I want to. My JPG files keep failing to upload. I am going through the same motions as the two pics that did upload. Any suggestions

For some reason the photos at https://www.sarcoinc.com/1911-auto-magazine-7-round/ loaded for me once then disappeared and won't reload.

When I could see photos the baseplate nomenclature appeared to be like some I saw in an auction several years ago. That auction offered an entire case of magazines with the cardboard box containing the magazines marked Taiwan.

Can you see these? They're directly from the same link:

BulletBiter, maybe your pictures are too big? If you're using Windows, try resizing the pictures and saving them in Paint. That usually compresses the .jpg quality a bit.

I bought five of the Sarco magazines that Spyros is posting about. They were very inexpensive. I had few regrets when throwing them away.

That looks like the nomenclature I remember on the magazines in the box marked Taiwan. I had photos of the magazines and box but lost them in a computer failure along with many others.

    More Pics

1.jpg2.jpg3.jpgAnother try at more pics. Finally figured it out. The SARCO mag looks the same as the 45 Auto marked one. I don't have a lot more to add on this subject. Thanks for everybodys
input. I will be trying the SARCO mag out soon. Just got the word from CMP that my number came up for a 1911 and I ordered a service grade. Today was my day. Doesn't happen often

That's a very strange looking follower.

Are these photos from the Sarco mag that's marked ",45 ACP" on the baseplate, or do these photos show the mag with the purported USGI production contract marking?

Yes, earlier when Bulletbiter mentioned a 'round follower' I immediately thought 'Metalform'... but this doesn't look much like their round follower.

The last pics I posted were from the SARCO Mag withe the NSN numbers and CAGE number. See very first pic on this thread. If you need better pics or a different angle let me know.
What magazines do you-all recommend I look for to use in the CMP 1911. I would like to by some more for the range. Maybe I should start a new thread for this?
