After they've been shot a bit. Out of the box; extractor tension.
I never had a Kimber that didn’t come with too much extractor tension, which caused the occasional FTRB, which became more frequent as the pistol got dirtier with firing.
The next most common problem I encountered with the brand was premature slide lock; which required filing/stoning of the inner lug of the slide stop to correct.
