New old SA Trophy Match again!

    Hello again!

Have found a new old Springfield Trophy Match for a real good price at a dealer.
Need to know if this is the old "good" variant which I should buy?
    Thanks a lot!!!!

    Hello,

The gun has the pre-2002/2003 frontstrap and dustcover. I don't know if this makes in the 'good' variant or not, because I don't know what that is.

The thumb safety looks like a replacement to me. The rear sight is an Italian-made LPA, but it's probably original.

How much is it going for?
Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold.

Interesting looking pistol. As I am relatively new to the ranks of Springfield Armory owners, two EMP4 CCCs in 2 years, bitone and an FDE, and an original Springfield Armory refurbished M1 Carbine. Curious about your very nice looking "Trophy Match". Is this like Springfield's version of a Colt National Match ?
