    Norinco 1911 slide question

Hello everyone. I am new to the form and am excited to be on here talking to other people who are 1911 fans. Several different configurations and brands of 1911 have always been my favorite design and Pistol over the years. I do have a question. I have to the Remco 1911's that are nickel-plated. I believe they are 70 series. The question I have is I would like to be able to purchase to blank slides for them both, as I would definitely like to have some engraving work done and then that slide nickel-plated and then simply slid onto the frame of my existing pistol. I'm having a hard time coming up with any slides that have light stamping that I can use for Engraving or even blank slides. Much less any that are 70 series. So with that being said does anyone know where a person can purchase a blank slide, I also would definitely like a set of rear and front sights if anyone has any that I would also like to Nickel Plated. Any information at all would be very valuable and if I need to post pictures of my current pistol I'll be more than happy.

I don't see where they have a slide that doesn't have a marking that says Caspian on the side that actually is engraved. The Old Coach back in the day used to be stamped lightly but I don't think you can engrave on a slide that has a name engraved on it. I don't think when they're cut into it that can be covered up with a design without interfering
