For my very simple needs, I use Hoppe's 9 products. I know there are all kinds and probably better products out there but I have had no issues with Hoppe's for close to 40 yrs. Everyone should use what works for them.

There isn't any problem that can't be handled thru the proper use of high explosives.
Slip 2000 has the right amount of viscosity and stickiness for slide rails IMO. Nighthawk Custom recommends Gibbs lubricant, but to me it smells and feels similar to Kroil. Too thin for rail lubrication.
