Dan Wesson 1911 Vigil CCO pistol purchaseI finally got the Dan Wesson 1911 Vigil CCO, in .45acp. What a beautiful, and tightly fit gun. The craftsmanship is incredibly good. I can't wait to take it to the range. A range report will be coming soon. I have one question for anybody that can tell me. How often do I change out the recoil spring on this pistol. What round count? It is a Commander slide. What pound recoil spring? 18, 20, etc? Thanks.

I replace my Commander's recoil spring every 1.5K rounds. Recoil spring weight for commanders standard is 18#, Enjoy your Dan Wesson they're great 1911s.
