    Congrats on the '57 GCNM. I still have one from that year. I installed an Elliason on mine. The fix for the sights coming loose is to put a small bend in the sight pin, then it won't walk out. The sights couldn't actually come off since the elevation screw is hard steel and would hold the sight on. It would flop around a bit though. Enjoy!! Best wishes.
