    interesting , can you give me a few pointers in how to modify . 38 super mags to feed. 38 special ??

    Bob Chow made .38 special target 1911's back in the 70's as well.

    I have a .38 Super that was converted to .38 Special back in the '60's. My grandfather used it for bullseye competition. I learned to shoot on this gun. I have exactly one magazine for this pistol, and it looks exactly like the OP's. Would a Colt factory produced .38 Special magazine function in my Colt Government conversion pistol?
