One of my 1911s is a Sig Sauer B-XO-Ca that I bought brand new late in 2018. With a 3.6 pound average trigger pull this gun is a joy to shoot. Fitting it into the same holsters I use for my other 1911s isn't a joy. Sig Sauer's slide profile differs from the 1911 contour. I bought a DeSantis OWB holster but found the pistol's fit to be just a little more snug than I would like. I wrapped the pistol in a dress sock and put it into the DeSantis holster overnight. That helped, but still left me with the thought that there must be a better holster out there somewhere.
Recently I ordered the Galco Fletch holster, model FL212B holster, which arrived yesterday. On first try the Sig Sauer went into the holster and was only a little bit too snug. I got out that dress sock and let it sit in the holster with the sock over the gun overnight. This morning I removed the sock and checked the fit. It was close to perfect.
In that same purchase I had bought a little bottle of "Galco Draw EZ". I swabbed a little of that on the holster's inside surface. After a wait I inserted my Sig Sauer. Problem solved. I like the a lot.
