    Curtis 1911

This is a 1911 that was originally done by Richard Curtis in El Reno, OK. He bought out Dick Shock when he retired. It started out as a 38 Super, Richard made it into a 38 Special wad gun and I shot it a bit like that. I had the breech face opened up to 45 ACP size and started campaigning it in IPSC, PPC and Bullseye. It's won me a small ton of gold over the years. It has been known to ride along on my hip on my meanders and it feels like a a pair of well worn slippers when I start to work.

I have a few more things tucked away I might have a pic or two of.

As an inveterate tinkerer, I am always interested in seeing pistols that have changed caliber.

    Thanks for posting it.
