    Warthog or P10 slide travel?

I'm trying to fit a Commander slide to a Warthog frame. I don't have a Warthog slide.

A standard 5" GI Model has 2.12" or so slide travel. I'm only getting 1.9" with my oddball combination.

Anyone who has a Warthog, could I get you to pull the slide all the way back and take a look at where the breech face is in relation to the disconnector hole in the frame?

At 1.9", I'm seeing the breechface 1/32" or so behind the disconnector hole.

At 2.12", I'm seeing it about a quarter inch behind the disconnector hole.

A proper Warthog might be somewhere in between those.

I have a SlimHawg, which is the single-stack equivalent of the Warthog. It also has a 3-inch barrel. Slide travel is 1-3/4".

At slide lock, the breechface is aligned with the rear wall of the magazine well. At full slide travel limit, it's back about another 1/8" beyond slide lock, exposing slightly less than half of the disconnector bore.

Thanks, Hawkmoon! I appreciate your help.

    I'll continue my project, then...
