    Over several months the trigger pull on mine got heavier and heaver. I had my gunsmith work on it, and got it back the other day. I did 20 pulls with the trigger scale. Average was just 3.52 pounds. Lightest was 3.13, and heaviest was 3.82 pounds. I'll give it a couple weeks of daily dry-fire, so I can "learn" the trigger, then head to the range and will update with how it works out.
    i sold all my handguns. . . . . . . . . . except for the 1911 style pistols in .45 ACP.

    I would pick the Auto Ordnance M1911A1 , it's a nice example of a GI style 45 , looks much more authentic than those RIA M1911's from the Philippines

    AO is a better looking , more correct , plus it's US made.
