    Llama IX-A Extractor Spring

Does anyone know if there is a compatible size extractor spring for a Llama IX-A.
I bought the pistol for dirt cheap BUT it is missing the extractor, pin and spring. I have found the extractor and pin but cannot find a spring that anyone will ship to Canada (the whole ITAR thing).

I just noticed this post, have you found the spring you were looking for?

I couldn't find an actual Llama spring so ordered the box of random gunsmith springs from Numrich and found one the right size.

Glad you found it. I have a Llama IX-A and found most of the parts are the same as any 1911.

Many 1911 parts can be made to fit the Llama near clones, but the Llamas used external extractors, so there's no standard 1911 spring that can be substituted or adapted to that application.

The one thing I thought the one thing that WOULD be the same was the magazine.

There are several 1911clones with external extractors, that is what I meant, not original 1911s.
PS. A very easy spring to find or make.

A magazine to me is an accessory, I am talking about internal parts.
