Concerning the review of the Rock River Arms Poly RRA 1911 there was a comment by Mr. Loomis that he was not
aware of any other "Poly" 1911 offerings. I am aware of one offered by Tanfoglio of Italy. It is imported by EAA,
European American Armory. It was reviewed in Shooting Illustrated, an NRA publication, in the August 2018 issue.
The MSRP is about half of the price of the RRA offering and it seems to be a well made pistol according to the review.
I think it would be worth consideration.

Yes... not a fan of accessory rails, but other than that (and the fact they offer it in three sizes) it looks very similar:

I am not a fan of accessory rails either, but they seem to be quite popular on many pistols today. I would still consider the Tanfoglio 1911 if I were in the market for a polymer framed model. At about half the price of the RRA I could live with the rail. After viewing some online reviews they seem to be well made pistols for the price range.

    Great review!

I’m very interested in picking up one of these RRA pistols.
