    Exactly! All the great 1911 features, including ”pointability,” and great trigger, coupled with a round with low recoil, low cost to shoot and reload, and you don’t feel bad when you can’t find all your brass.

    Those same features make them great for use in IDPA, and the hi-cap models are also good for USPSA.
