Another loss for the Second Amendment

    This time in New Jersey:

    https://www.ammoland.com/2018/12/thi...#axzz5ZBOrCe5b

The article goes into the content of the dissenting opinion more than the actual decision, with good reason. The decision is fundamentally flawed (as discussed in the dissent). That said, I'm not even happy with the dissent, for the reason that he says the "core right" of the 2nd Amendment is self defense in the home. The words "in the home" do not appear in the 2nd Amendment. In fact, neither do the words "self defense." We face a tough battle when even the judges who are on our side can't read a simple paragraph consisting of one sentence and get it right.

I would hope SCOTUS will get the opportunity to overturn this ruling.

This is very sad with the magazine bill. Magazines that hold over 10 rounds as of December 10,2018, in New Jersey are considered contraband by the law, refer to NJ Assembly Bill A 2761 and Senate Bill S.102. They can be found on the NJ legislature section of the State of NJ Homepage. This bill has made the majortity of law abiding citizens in NJ now criminals for possessing an inanimate object . To ergister these magazines is a reminder of the forerm Sovite Union (communism) progressives aren't any different. As a NJ resident, I don't know how this bill will be enforced . Sadly NJ has been hostile towards law abiding gun owners, despite having some of the stricted gun laws in the country, they only affect the law abiding and not the REAL CRIMINALS.
Criminals don't obey the laws that aer already in place gun related or not. Governor Murphy and the NJ legislature, majority are democrats don't care about the Second Amendment and never have.

The Plaintiffs in this case recently lost their case in court see The Star ledger Friday December 7,2018. Hopefully the U.S. Supreme Court will her this case and decide in favor of the Plaintiffs , a long shot .

According to recent news, this 10 round restriction even applies to off-duty police.

Which is the only time you hear people like Former NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik get all twisted about it. He mentioned that the thugs, and gang bangers pay no attention to magazine restrictions and it therefore it puts cops lives in danger.

Doesn't the same thing apply to ordinary citizens? Aren't the lives of everyday people also in danger? I bet if the police had been given the usual carve out that he would be silent on the subject.
