Anyone know the status of Karl Lippard? I get no response from messages sent to him and now I see some "stuff" for sale on eBay that came from his "liquidation"

Something like that, actually saw some pretty impressive video of him nailing targets at 600 yards, I think he holds the world record for 600 yards, or something like that.

He got liquidated? Strange, his claims were so ridiculous I'd assumed his success was guaranteed... [/sarcasm]
In addition to the 500-yard OFFENSIVE weapon version of the 1911 (accomplished by special sights and a super-awesome barrel link - honest), he also claimed that ALL USGI 1911 barrels are dangerous to shoot, because they can't withstand the pressure of standard .45 Auto ammunition (!), and should IMMEDIATELY be replaced with stainless barrels -- HIS stainless barrels, obviously. This last claim was founded on a deliberate mixing of CUP and PSI pressures, explained in a page that should be renamed into 'Snake-oil Salesman's Bible'.
Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold.
