    New, To Me, Powder

I am trying out Expansion Industries ETR7 Target Rich powder. It is clean burning and has the same recoil as Unique. One problem is that it is hard to find. I am hoping that they get their act together and ordering it will become an everyday event. I use a load of 6.2grs behind a 185gr hollow point. It is a good load.

Sorry, this company seems to no longer exist. I can not find its web site anywhere. Good powder that no longer is available.

So Expansion Industries was a flash in the pan?

    Sorry, just couldn't resist.

WWW says ETR7=CSM1 made by Maxam in Spain.
All I find for sale is CSM1M and do not know the difference.

Not sure what CSM1 is but https://hi-techammo.com/collections/...tary-gunpowder has CSB-1M. I do not know if that is the same as ETR-7 but the innerwebs says it is. Additionally, the innerweb suggests 1M has a smaller flake than CSB-1M. CSB-1M certainly seems inexpensive but I will stick with my tried-and-true Bullseye that only costs a few dollars more.
