Two hours after Governor Rick Scott signed a bill prohibiting adults between 18 and 21 years of age from buying any firearms, the NRA filed a suit in federal court to overturn the law on constitutional grounds.

People are allowed to drive at 16, to vote at 18, but to buy a gun you have to be 21?!?!

I hope the court sides with the NRA on this, as it is unconstitutional. At age 18 one can enlist in the military of our great country and serve and be trained to shoot a rifle and handgun, and yet they aern't allowed by new laws(vary by state) to legally purchase an AR 15 type semi automatic rifle. What happened in Florida on Feb.14,2018 was very tragic. The senseless loss of life is very sad. There are many issue here that need to be investigated in the State of Florida, with everything publically known about the perpetrator of this tragedy, that is where the investigation needs to be started. Perhaps a letetr writing campaignn to the Governor of Florida asking for an investigation. The facts are out there and known. Not more gun control laws coming from the federal, or state goverfnments in this country. The students who were affected by this are lashing out the some how the NRA is responsible and there have been calls to repeal the Second Amendment due to this shooting. This is the ultimate goal of the anti gun politicians,a nd anti gun groups. The big problem with that is in the future, anotehr amendment such as the 4th, 5th Amendmetn to the Bill of Rights could be targeted for for restriction, eradication etc.
