    AO 1911 10mm?

I have a chance to trade for a AO 1911 in 10mm thatís in good physical condition but I am a little concerned about itís reliability. Iíve owned a Thompson custom 1911 that had FTF issue and sold it before getting through a full box of Winchester white box. Iíve read that after 500+ rounds the pistol smoothed out and no issues. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Where was this pistol manufactured? If it's from West Hurley, NY, you're probably better off statying far away from it. If it was made in Worcester, MA, there's a much better chance that it's a good pistol.
