    .38 Super Ammo

Has anyone tried the Underwood .38 Super +P 90 Grain Xtreme Defender ammo? If so how do you like it?

let me first say i have never used any underwood ammo, however i do reload using the lehigh bullets they use and specifically the 90 gr xd as well as the 90 gr xp and 65 gr xd. fantastic bullets, penetrate deep and leave a large wound cavity. recently i ordered some 200 gr .45 cal lehigh bullets and will work up a carry round.

I am wanting to get a 38 Super, and when I do, I will be using federal ammo in it. I have been using their Hydra Shock for many years and that is my go to round. I will also be going with something heavier that 90gr.

I've shot 124gn DoubleTap and CorBon from a Bear 4-1/4" gun. Both worked well. Didn't test either other than functioning. Have heard good things about Underwood.
