    Shooters Arns Manufacturing

I bought one via Century Arms Inc. about 17 years ago. A really good gun, but it seems S.A.M. has disappeared from the market! I wonder why that it is? I know Iver Johnson gets theirs from S.A.M. but I can find no record of S.A.M.'s import company in Nevada any more.

Been there, done that. Appreciate your effort, but I am wondering what happened to their Nevada facility.

Somebody imports S.A.M. 1911s these days. ATI? Century Arms?

A bit of research and multiple sources say ATI 1911s are made by Shooters Arms Manufacturing.

    Papa,

Sorry to take so long. The Iver Johnson pistol I have has I-J logo on the side of the slide, but "Shooters Arms Manufacturing" on the bottom of the dust shield. Don't know if that is what you wanted to know, but they are keeping their name out there.

I have known about Shooters Arms Manufacturing since approximately the year 2000, but I have never heard of them having their own import arm or a facility in Neveda. Are you sure you're not confusing S.A.M. with Armscor? Armscor has a major operation in Nevada, called Advanced Tactical. https://advancedtactical.com/

(Not to be confused with ATI, who imports S.A.M. ATI is an acronym for American Tactical Imports.)
