    DW Guardian or Fusion Combat?

I also posted this on the Fusion forum. I have narrowed it down to these to guns for my next EDC. The Guardian is in .38 Super which is a caliber I have never had and the Combat would be in 10mm which I have had loads of experience with. I would add the bobtail to the Fusion also. I had a DW Cbob in 10mm but sold it several years ago in an act of foolishness. I like the idea of the lightweight Guardian and have always wanted to try a .38 Super. I have been carrying a full size Sig 10mm 1911 for a while but want to go back to a Commander length and a bobtail frame which I find conceal better under light clothing. I have no experience with Fusion other than through emails and phone calls and they have been very helpful and Mr. Serva was over DW when my Cbob was made. Decisions-decisions. Both guns end up about the same price. What would you pick?

Out of these, I'd probably go for the Guardian, partly because I find the .38 Super more appealing than the 10mm, and partly because I just like DW more.
Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold.

I would probably also opt for the DW, but I do not have any experience with Fusion. Both 38 Super and 10mm are more fun if you reload. The only 38 Super LW Commander I have is a 2009 Colt XSE Commander nice pistol.

Virtually everyone reports that Dan Wesson consistently produces extremely high-quality 1911s. Reports on Fusion are all over the map. Personally, I would never consider owning a Fusion firearm.

I have heard a lot of good things about DW pistols, but have never had the chance to fondle one to see if I would want one.

I've never owned or shot a Fusion but have several DW pistols. Each has been a well built, quality firearm.

I would go with the DW, I can't say that I would ever consider owning a Fusion. Best wishes.
