Thread: Remington double-stacks versus Para double stacks ??

    The metal trigger IS interesting. Not because there's anything wrong with plastic for the trigger shoe [as far as I'm concerned] but because the fit of the plastic Para trigger could be quite loose, especially top to bottom. If the metal one is a bit tighter, it might be an improvement -- and interesting for Para owners as an upgrade, if Remington starts selling spare parts.

    MinkFeet, your Para Pro Custom probably came with Para's EGW-made HD extractor. Have you stripped the Remington's slide, by any chance? I wonder if they kept it or if they decided to go back to a standard 1911 s80 extractor...

    Never think outside the box. Just buy what is on the shelf. There is a reason it doesn't come the way you want it. Be a team player.
