Hello,
A lot of Mosin-Nagant people are also 1911 people.
I was thinking about recommending these forums in my next newsletter to my customers.
Is there any reason I should *not*?
Regards,
Josh

I know very little about Mosin-Nagant rifles, but off-hand I can think of no reason why anyone would not refer this forum to folks who like them.
Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold.

Thank you.

This just went out with the Christmas flier. We will see what happens. I've always enjoyed this place and am unhappy to see it as slow as it is.

Mosin-Nagants are interesting critters. I have an M38 carbine that I purchased a number of years ago, more or less on a whim. Like the author of this article [ http://chuckhawks.com/underrated_mosin-nagant.htm ] I prefer the M38 over the M44 because I don't like the folding bayonet on the M44.

On a good day, can hit the broad side of a barn ... from the inside
They're interesting critters for sure. I suspect -- but have not tested -- that an M44 with the bayonet removed but with the lug intact -- may be more precise than an M38.
But yes, for convenience, the M38 makes the best sense.
I personally prefer my pet 91/30. It's a little long but I'm used to that now. It'll hold around MOA with match quality handloads. My vision isn't the best, and the long sighting plane helps.

In the FB ad rotation. We'll see.
