Which is the Minimax? Is that the stubby double stack?

Warthog,
Once upon a time in a Galaxy far away, I had one. Not the double stack. However I tried or changed grips, I found it leaned towards being limpwristed. Whether me or the gun I
never found out. I gave it to one of my grandsons, and he loved it.
However, I never had any documentation on the gun. Try this.

That manual shows the double stack, which is what I think the Minimax was. The Llama single stack, scaled-down .380 was the IIIA, and later the Micromax.
It looks like Armscor (Rock Island) is reviving the Llama micro pistols. The Baby Rock appears to be a clone of the Llama IIIA/Micromax 380, and Armscor also has a double stack .45 in their Baby Rock series, the Rock Ultra CS Warrior.

Hawkmoon,
I have not seen the "Warrior" series. However, the Original Baby Rock was not a clone of the Llama. It is a true scaled down 1911. I have one and it
is a dream to shoot.

I have the advantage of having seen the draft review of the Baby Rock in John's e-zine. The Baby Rock is, as the review calls it, "1911-ish" but not a true 1911, even scaled-down. But it absolutely IS a clone of the Llama Micromax 380, and when you see the next issue of the e-zine you'll see why we say that. Stay tuned -- the new e-zine should be published very soon.

Hawkmoon,
When was this Draft Review? I bought my baby Rock two years ago and it is as shown in the photo I posted, a small 1911. It looks nothing like a Llama.
The photo you posted clearly states that it is the "Warrior series".
Let's agree to disagree. :<)

Hawkmoon,
Here is the URL for the Armscor Warrior.

You are mixing up two different pistols. The Rock Ultra CS Warrior is a .45 ACP double stack. The pistol you have is the Baby Rock 380. The Ultra CS Warrior appears to be derived either from the Llama Minimax 45, or from the Para-Ordnance P10.45 (or both). Your Baby Rock 380 is an almost exact clone of the Llama IIIA or Micromax 380.
The new e-zine will be available in a day or two, and you'll see the basis for my statement.
The question that is the original topic of this thread was about the Llama Minimax .45. We got sidetracked because I asked for confirmation of what model and type of pistol the Minimax is. You posted a link to the manual for the Minimax double stack, but you posted a photo of an Armscor Baby Rock, which is a clone of the Llama Micromax (not Minimax).
