    Randall

I am new to the forum, but was hoping that someone would be able to give me some information. I found 2 Randall 9mm handguns on Gunbroker. 4MaxAuctions is the seller, I have never seen the 9mm versions for sale before. They are both new in box, one is the A112 - 5” and the other is the A212 - Commander size. I have no knowledge about the 9mm Randall’s and I do not know what they are worth.. Can someone give me some information on the handguns.

Blue Book has a long section on Randalls with model designations and numbers made. Can't count on the dollar values, but there is a lot of history there for a small operation... as Blue Book goes.

BB stopped publishing the Randall section several years ago, and now requires you go onsite to view the info. Their values for the .45 have been dramatically UNDERSTATED for years - I watch the various auctions routinely, and have seldom seen one go for as low as they state - especially the Southpaw models. Generally speaking, the more common Randalls will bring around $800-1200, with the rarer ones in the $1500-1800 range. Southpaws.....the LEAST I've seen a Southpaw go for was in the $6k range - I have the 3 more common ones, and have turned down $8k EACH for them.

The 9's I've paid less attention to, as I don't own any handgun in 9mm other than my Sig pocket pistols - but I'd expect them to be within 10-15% of the .45's. They're NOT hen's teeth right now - there's still quite a few out there (Gunbroker hype aside), but I DO see that changing over the next 5-10 years as more serious collectors begin buying and holding them.
