Hoppe No 9, the best perfume for men!
Oil? Any oil you can find. As long as you regularly lubricate the pistol, it should be fine. Gunbutter used to be a very good oil, but I am not sure you can find it these days.

I use CLP as a cleaner, and then run the solvent out with Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber. I use a toothbrush and Q-Tips to get inside tight spaces. I then lube with Mobil 1 motor oil. I relube every two weeks or so to keep the weapon well lubricated. Cleaning takes maybe 20 minutes, re-oiling is a 3 minute procedure at best.

I use hoppe's elite cleaner. I still use hoppe's #9 and or CLP to clean the barrel.
