Spare mags for the Double stack 1911 1911.

Just got my fourth mag (MECGAR Para P18) and modified it. All you have to do is take a dremel tool and using the 1/2 " grinding wheel,
dress the lips down to match the .22 TCM magazine. All of my mags (4) now run fine. Be careful with the pressure on the grinding,
use half speed on the Dremel, as the mags are hard steel. And hard steel grinds better with a slow grinder.

That's great if you happen to have a 22 TCM magazine lying around.

It would be much appreciated if you would post a couple of photos with a more detailed explanation of where to grind, and how much.

    Hawk,
Do you have a .22TCM mag that came with the gun? I will figure out how to post a photo and get back to you.

    Hawk,
Just got back from the range and the new Mec-Gar modified mag ran like a singer sewing machine.
