    Looking for info on my Combat Master, had it for several years, brought to the range once, excellent shooter.

    I can't read the trademark and serial number to tell which iteration of Detonics it is.

    I have one I bought new in 1984. Used it as a backup to the Colt Gov I carried. It has a serial number of CR183xx and the rollmark, which is not deeply stamped has two lines. One is Detonics 45 and the next is Combat Master.



    I put the Pachmayr grips on it back in 84. My little finger has no place to go when I shoot it. It came with wood stocks and also had a sheep lined gun rag shown below with full length 1911 grips.
