Are Springfield 1911s made in America now?

I read somewhere that they ditched Imbel a couple years ago and are 100% made in America now but they won't release info on who provided the forgings, does anyone know the details? What made them ditch imbel?

The story I keep reading is that the forging is still done by Imbel, then the machining is done here, as well as assembly.

Both Imbel and Springfield Armory have said they have terminated their arrangement. I suppose that could mean they've replaced it with a different arrangement, but that's not the sense I've gotten. I imagine Springfield now gets their frames and slides from the same source everyone else (other than Colt) gets them.

Imbel made a good gun. Hope the new ones can equal them.
