What are the 'Go to' Reference books for early Government Models?

Greetings all, long time no post.

I just acquired a 1916 built Government Model, SN C490XX that has been updated as a shooter (with a hardened slide, after market sights, Micro bushing, arched mainspring housing, pachmar grips)

Along with the pistol I got a cigar box full of spare parts including several springs, the original slide, 3 extra barrels, the walnut grips, a flat mainspring housing, links, ect ect. I have a feeling that most of the original 1916 made parts are mixed in but I don't know how to ID them

What is the standard reference book for these pre-war Government models? I'd like to go through and see how many original parts I have

    Thanks all
    JYS

My, those books are expensive. The most common Clawson Commercial starts at $199.
