Valentime's Day Present for My Wife?

So Valentine's Day is just about a month away. Wouldn't a nice box of .45 ACP ammo be a great present?!

    Two boxes would be better.

You're a blessed man if she's the kind of woman who would appreciate it.

Cannot say that I ever gave my wife ammunition, for her birthday, but one year I did buy her a John Deere tractor. 25 years later it is still "her" tractor.

I took my wife to an indoor shooting range on our wedding anniversary once. I took her to dinner later that day. Ha! Ha!
There isn't any problem that can't be handled thru the proper use of high explosives.

Well, my wife has only gone out to the range with me once and she shot my .22 rifle. First time I think she shot a rifle. Before I turn her lose with my 1911, I think I'll borrow my Dad's old Ruger from my brother. Unfortunately I'm thinking if she got slide bite that would be the end of it.

Oh well. I guess I still could get her a box of ammo and explain that its the 1911's birthday. If things look like they're going south then I'll tell her I wrapped my own Valentine's present to me and gave her the wrong one. That would save her from having to go through the hassle of buying me a present. Hmm... Better figure out a backup present. Time's running out.

So following Doran's suggestion I got a100 round box Winchester white box for 1911 Patent Day. I thought it was a great, ideal 50 rounds for me and 50 for her I told her. Then I proceeded to give out the other presents to my daughters. After my wife's eye roll (which I typically get in response to my lame humor), she agreed my comment that she'd probably want to use some of the ammo on me. So much for celebrating 1911 Patent Day with my family. At least the Valentine's presents were a success.
