It's worth pointing out that, conversely to what applies to the frames, described above, most rimfire 1911 slides have rails cut with relatively 'generous' tolerances in mind, to fit as wide an array of available 1911 frames as possible. So if a tight Caspian [or any other] frame needs a bit of work to allow the rimfire slide to fit, I wouldn't expect the work needed to be too extensive. Probably...
