    If using the RIA barrel shows a flaw in the ammo, it is not a hassle. When you clean the pistol, leave it field stripped until after you reload.
    Have you tried the spare barrel in the RIA. The RIAs are pretty forgiving about swapping parts.

    You got calipers? Measure at the case lip. Should be no more than .473

    Are your reloads really inconsistent on COL? Make some dummies that are different lengths/ with different bullet types and test once. You should know if they'll fit from then on.
