Icon17 Colt Officers/M1991A1 Compact Dual OEM Recoil Springs

I just came across some new old stock hard to find spring sets for the Colt Officers and M1991A1 Compact 45. These are Colt standard 22# dual springs. See http://www.ebay.com/itm/COLT-OFFICER...CP-/2524628340.

That's a great find. Makes me wish I had an ePrey account.

I ordered a couple sets from those guys or someone else off epray. I used a Discover card and they transfer money to epray. I have a 1985 Officers I found last year lightly shot with box etc and want to keep it original when I shoot it.

Now I also found a 2000 Compact for a great price. Somebody had put an aftermarket trigger in it and it had the Wolff replacement single spring that is larger on one end than the other end so one can use the smaller guide rod. Here the pistol is apart as I fit a new long trigger from Cylinder and Slide to it and one can see the spring.

And here it is with the new trigger and some new stocks from Altamont. These came with Colt hard rubber grips on them.

I have found the single Wolff springs to work O.K. but it is nice to have some spare originals also.

That looks good with the long trigger, Dakota.
    I have a 86 (I think) Officers that I've been having a ball with.
One of the things I've done to it is the long trigger, which I prefer over the short.
