    Sig Nightmare Carry vs SR1911CMD

I'm hoping to get some feedback to help me make a decision.

Narrowed down my next firearm purchase to either the Sig Nightmare Carry or the SR1911CMD. I've scoured the web and found lots of good feedback on both.

FWIW I can pick up the Nightmare for $750 from a neighbor so the price would be approximately the same based on my LGS prices.

    Thoughts, opinions, warnings???

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I personally don't like external extractors on 1911's. Also, I personally would never own a pistol called the "Nightmare." From a legal perspective it just seems like an unwise choice of model names.

Sort of made the decision. I have the Ruger SR1911CMD. Very nice pistol.
