I called Checkmate and spoke to Brandon about ordering some mags. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They had part of the order in stock but not all of it. I told him I preferred to get the entire order at once. It took awhile to get them and I did call a couple times (okay, maybe more than that) and Brandon was always polite and on top of the situation. My mags showed up yesterday. I'm a happy girl!
Checkmate makes more than just magazines and I doubt they have dedicated lines making mags so I fully expect some delays when things aren't in stock.

That makes perfect sense to me...

I was on the Checkmate website today to look at the hybrid magazines, it took a long time for the page to load then I got a message saying my IP has temporarily been blocked for suspicious behavior. On another note, I also noticed Topgun Supply was Out of Stock.

If possible, switch your modem/router off and on again, so you will be assigned a new IP. That's unless you have a fixed IP address from your internet provider. Checkmate appears to be using some rather strict restrictions for those viewing their website. No IPs outside the US are allowed, not even from Canada. No idea why.

If you're getting the message you describe, it may be that your IP has previously been used by someone else, in some odd way. You can do an internet search with a term like 'what is my IP address' to find out more. Or, you can just reset your router, get a new IP, and try again..

Moved to my present location in 1998 and still finding unopened boxes in the basement. Opened a box that said magazines, thought it was books. No, it was a pack of 1 dozen Check-Mate 7 round 1911 SS mags. 1985 price, $59.95, Christmas in March!
