    DW and CZ

Hello all! I have taken a long break away from shooting and now have the time to get back into it! I have a few Dan Wesson's "pre-CZ" and absolutely LOVE them! The Patriot is still my favorite 1911 of the group. Bob really took his time with this one. I also own the Pointman Aussie, an early Patriot Cbob, and the forum edition of the Razorback.. think there are 150 of these floating around.

My question is - What is Bob's involvement with CZ/Dan Wesson? Is the quality just as good? Are the Frames still forged? Is it best to go with one of his offerings at Fusion? Thanks for all the answers to my questions (which I am sure can be found in search, however I couldn't find anything)

I think Bob Serva is no longer involved with Dan Wesson/CZ.

Current DWs have forged frames. I believe most (if not all) DW models made back when he was in charge there (and for a few years afterwards) had cast frames. If I'm right, the first Dan Wesson to come with a forged frame was the Valor.
Too many people miss the silver lining because they're expecting gold.
